HVAC Module Leak Test System

HVAC modules are evacuated, filled with helium and leak tested utilizing a Mass Spectrometer. InterTech custom designed distribution manifold and seal heads allow for ergonomic operator set up and 360 deg. helium sniffer operation.

HVAC assembly barcode is read and the unit is serialized. AC and heater circuits are leak tested to 10 mbar l/s equivalent to 5g of R134 refrigerant per year. A label with relevant data is printed at the end of the test cycle.

The HVAC Module Leak Test System's design and technology improved productivity, defective units can be repaired and retested online prior to final assembly.
